Yasemin Eda Erdal
Yasemin holds a BSc from International Relations department of Middle East Technical University, and two Master’s degrees; MBA degree from Bilkent University and MSc in European Studies from Bremen University in Germany as a Jean Monnet Scholar. She completed an Executive Leadership programme from Sorbonne University in Paris on ‘Global Digital Transformation’ in 2019.
She has 17 years of professional experience in Technology Transfer, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship Support Services. She worked 9 years in the biggest science and technology parks of Turkey.
She acted as one of the 8 members of the Board of Directors of Ankara Development Agency between 2009-20011 as a decision maker for the development projects of Greater Ankara city. In 2014 she was selected as one of the 20 emerging Turkish leaders selected to participate in a U.S. State Department sponsored fellowship program, namely ‘Young Turkey Young America’ dedicated to foster cross-Atlantic dialogue on sustained entrepreneurial collaboration. The specific purpose of the project was to study best practice examples in the USA, specifically in San Francisco region, about entrepreneurship and start-up support mechanisms.
She has founded E-CO Consulting in 2015 with the mission to create an impact on entrepreneurs and technology start-ups/ SMEs and support them on their globalization journeys and enable them to contribute to SDGs. Between 2014-2018 she worked for the European Commission in Brussels as a project evaluator to decide the research projects and deeptech startups to be funded by the European Commission.
In 2023 she was selected as a fellow to ‘Fortune 500 - U.S. Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring’ Program as one of the 14 global most successful women leaders from all over the world. This program connects talented, emerging women leaders from all over the world with members of Fortune 500 Companies’ most powerful women leaders. In 2025 she was selected to Vital Voices Global Fellowship program, which is a global movement that champions women leaders tackling the world’s most urgent challenges while working to advance the UN SDGs.
For the last 10 years she has been actively training and mentoring entrepreneurs and start-ups/ scale-ups from different countries in Europe. She is an active angel investor. Yasemin also holds the position of Partner Consultant for Fund and International Business Development at InnotalentPlus.
